Aerial Forest Adventure: Redux

IT’s been a great summer at the new Aerial Forest Adventure Park here at Loon Mountain, and we’re about to end the season in style. This weekend we’re opening two new aerial adventure courses, effectively doubling the size of the park.

The new additions give participants a full spectrum of courses to choose from, ranging from easy to difficult. The park will be open Saturday, Oct. 6 through Monday, Oct.8, and it will be the last chance to fly above the forest before winter sets in.

This weekend is also Oktoberfest, so after you fly through the park you’ll be able to reward yourself with some excellent German bratwurst, sauerkraut, and beer if you’re over 21. And don’t forget the cornhole tournament, water balloon launching contest, and the infamous stein holding contest. The foliage will be at its peak this weekend, and admission to Oktoberfest is free! So really, there’s no reason not to visit.
