Peak Foliage and Oktoberfest

It’s Friday, and things couldn’t be better here at Loon Mountain. Today, we’re enjoying peak fall foliage. The colors are especially vivid this year, thanks to the warm days, cool nights, and relatively dry weather we enjoyed this fall.

Don’t forget to head up here this weekend for the fall colors and Oktoberfest. Lift a mug, grab a bratwurst, fly through the newly-expanded Aerial Forest Adventure Park, or take the gondola to the summit.

Here are a few photos from today, but we recommend you see it for yourself this weekend.

An amazing Friday morning here at Loon with valley fog. This is the view from the gondola, looking down toward the base of North Peak.

At the summit of Loon Peak, looking toward Kancamagus Pass and the eastern White Mountains.

Looking down at the summit of South Peak from the deck at the Summit Cafe.

Looking out toward Franconia Ridge.
