Loon Athletes Rock USASA National Championships

The last two weeks have been huge for the Loon Comp Team.

Competing against the nation’s best young skiers and snowboarders, athletes on the Loon Snowboard and Freeride Competition Teams racked up several podium finishes at the USASA Ski & Snowboard Nationals, held at Copper Mountain, CO., from March 30 – April 9.

After a winter of training and competing at Loon Mountain, a number of Loon’s athletes dominated their respective events in Colorado. Loon’s snowboarders fared particularly well, including Margot Osterman (Osterville, Mass.) who finished first in Giant Slalom and Slalom; Greg Fligor (Weston, Mass.) who finished first in Giant Slalom; and Pippa Scott (Boston, Mass.) who finished second in the Slopestyle competition.

Loon is incredibly proud of all of the athletes who competed in the two-week competition, which serves as a training ground for future Olympians and X-Games athletes. We congratulate them on a job well done, and wish them the best of luck next winter!

We’d also like to thank the Comp Team coaches who accompanied our skiers snowboarders to Colorado. Those coaches include Bryce Hanrahan, Morgan Alford, Devon Gulick, and Michael Rodrick. As the results show, they did an amazing job of coaching our athletes this winter.

Without further ado, here’s how all of Loon’s athletes fared in Colorado:
