If you’re looking to get outside and enjoy the White Mountains as summer turns to fall, you should definitely check out the new Loon Peak Disc Golf course!
Starting at the 2,733-foot summit of Loon Peak, the new course is the highest in New Hampshire – and the most spectacular. Players will enjoy breathtaking views of New Hampshire’s highest peaks as they follow the mostly-downhill, 18-hole course to the mountain’s base.
To reach the first hole, players will ride New Hampshire’s longest scenic Gondola Skyride to the summit of Loon Peak. From there, signs direct players to the start of the course roughly 200 yards down the Exodus trail.
The course then winds its way down mellow beginner ski trails, with a several holes traversing intermediate terrain on the lower half of the mountain.
$18 for Adults (ages 13-64) $16 for Seniors (ages 65-79)
$13 for Juniors (ages 6-12) FREE for ages 5 & under/80+

FYI: The course is open to anyone with a valid Gondola Skyride ticket, summer season pass, or 2018/19 winter season pass. Guest are allowed to play multiple rounds per day. Disc rentals are sold separately.
What to Wear
The course makes its way down grassy ski slopes and rocky service roads, so be prepared for mountainous terrain. It’s not a golf course. You’ll want to wear hiking boots or running shoes – any sort of athletic footwear that you’ll be comfortable hiking in. Most players will spend approximately two hours on the course, so bring any water, snacks, and extra clothing you think you’ll need along the way.
Don’t have your own disc? We’ve got you covered. Stop by Loon Mountain Sports and pick up a rental for just $10. Each rental package comes with three discs: a driver, mid-range disc, and putter. Each disc comes in handy on different sections of the course, and they’ll make your experience that much more enjoyable. Save time and reserve online.
*FYI: Since it takes approximately 2 hours to play the course, Loon Mountain Sports stops selling disc rentals at 3:30 p.m.
