The Slopeside Deli just underwent a massive makeover, and it looks amazing.
The deli, sandwiched between the Paul Bunyan Room and the Mountain Club on Loon (pun intended), has always been a relaxing, quiet place to grab a slopeside lunch on weekends and holidays. This fall, we completed a top-to-bottom renovation of the space, modernizing everything from the paint on the walls to the menu.
Do yourself a favor and swing by for lunch this week. With a totally revamped menu, you’ll have plenty of new options to try. They’ve got everything from your classic Philly Steak & Cheese sub to Brown Rice & Quinoa Bowls. I’ve heard great things about the Thanksgiving Special, which will satisfying anyone who’s eaten Thanksgiving dinner and wondered, “Why isn’t this a sandwich?”

You’ll also want to check out the deli’s stout selection of beers (pun also intended). From Sip of Sunshine IPA to Moat Mountain’s Czech Pilsner, the deli’s rocking an excellent selection of craft beers this winter. If you don’t find the beer you’re looking for, just walk 50 feet across the new deck to the Paul Bunyan Room, where they’ve got 32 drafts on tap. Check them out on Untappd to see if they’ve got your brew on draft today.
