You know it’s the holidays here at Loon when you spot Santa skiing down the slopes. If you’re planning on celebrating this year, whether it’s Christmas, Hanukkah or Festivus, we have a full lineup of holiday fun, even spanning into the next decade.

Christmas Eve Tree Lighting Service

You don’t need to be at home to celebrate Christmas Eve with friends and family. Join us at 6:30 p.m. on December 24 to light the Loon Christmas tree with Loon Mountain Ministry. We’ll sing Christmas carols and enjoy cookies and hot cocoa. Free

Kids’ Night Out

Parents, listen up! If you’re looking to have some holiday relaxation, and maybe go out to dinner without your little angels. Give your kids a night of fun at the Adventure Center, dinner included. Kids can enjoy the climbing wall, ice skating, the zipeline and more. Call 800-229-5666 to reserve. $60 per child.

Snowshoe and S’mores

Make your vacation week extra special with our Snowshoe and S’mores Après Party on Dec. 27. When the lifts shut down for the day, you’ll ride up the Seven Brothers Triple, and then take a guided snowshoe tour down to our rustic Camp III Lodge. Tickets are $59 for adults with rentals and $49 for those with their own snowshoes. Call 800-229-5666 to reserve.

New Year’s Eve at the Bunyan Room

Ring in the new decade at your favorite apres spot. This end-of-the-year party will feature a DJ, midnight champagne toast, and hot & cold hors-d’oeuvres. This is a 21+ event and is $30 per person.

Sno-Go

Sno-Go combines the thrill of skiing with the intuitive nature of riding a bike. Experience the mountain in a whole new way on a Sno-Go. Carve groomers or rip through powder on the only ski-bike company endorsed by the Professional Ski Instructors of America. Enjoy a full day on the slopes and a complimentary tour for $79, weekends and holidays only.

Tubing

It’s not all about skiing and snowboarding. Slide down the Little Sister trail and enjoy two lanes of lift service tubing, fun for all ages! Go during the day, or reserve ahead for some runs under the stars.
