We don’t want to jinx anything, but it’s starting to look like this weekend will be one you don’t want to miss. Besides the forecast, there’s plenty of events and things to do this weekend for everyone on the mountain.
Whether you’re six or sixty, there’s options for everyone. Join the Kids’ Torchlight Parade along Sarsaparilla or watch Loon’s finest cascade down Coolidge Street at 7 p.m. Fireworks will follow immediately after the parade.
If you’d prefer to kick the weekend off with a cocktail, or maybe reward yourself after some pow laps (fingers crossed!) head over to Babe’s Blue Ox Lounge and enjoy the custom Bloody Mary Bar from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
What would a day of skiing with be without grabbing a beer with you friends after a day on the slopes. Enjoy live music and drink specials from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday both at Babe’s and the Bunyan Room
Make your vacation week extra special with our Snowshoe and S’mores Après Party on Jan. 19. When the lifts shut down for the day, you’ll ride up the Seven Brothers Triple, and then take a guided snowshoe tour down to our rustic Camp III Lodge. Tickets are $59 for adults with rentals and $49 for those with their own snowshoes. Call 800-229-5666 to reserve.
FREE! Ride inside a snowcat with the true kings & queens of corduroy. Climb into the cab for a ride while our master operators groom the slopes of the West Basin. We’ll start loading passengers at 4:30 p.m. and the line closes at 6 p.m.
Sno-Go combines the thrill of skiing with the intuitive nature of riding a bike. Experience the mountain in a whole new way on a Sno-Go. Carve groomers or rip through powder on the only ski-bike company endorsed by the Professional Ski Instructors of America. Enjoy a full day on the slopes and a complimentary tour for $79, weekends and holidays only.
It’s not all about skiing and snowboarding. Slide down the Little Sister trail and enjoy two lanes of lift service tubing, fun for all ages! Go during the day, or reserve ahead for some runs under the stars.
