The Purpose of Platinum

It’s officially one week till our season passes go off sale. Being a New England skier is a point of pride, but sometimes we need to change it up, which brings us to the case for the New England Platinum Pass.

Home Court Advantage

Loon, Sunday River, Sugarloaf – wherever you call home, the Platinum Pass is your ticket to unlimited skiing and ridging, every day of the season at all three resorts. That means three mountains, 358 number of trails, 2,290 number of acres, and everything from corduroy to bumps and steeps to cruisers.

Ikon-ic Destinations

What we consider to be the best perk of the pass is the included Ikon Base Pass. What just does that mean for New Englanders? Unlimited access to Stratton, Sugarbush and Mont Tremblant plus five days at Killington. This also means access to the wild west – Squaw, Mammoth, Winter Park… the list goes on. In addition to the Ikon Base Pass, Platinum pass holders will also receive 50 percent off Mountain Collective destinations like Snowbird and Revelstoke. Basically, the temptation to head out west is just too good with the pass.

First Tracks

The coveted first runs of the day are yours on certain Sundays throughout the season. Head to South Peak at 7:30 a.m. to take advantage of trenching in to some freshly pressed corduroy or getting in those early morning powder wiggles.
