We’ve enjoyed an extremely photogenic fall season here at Loon, with some of the most colorful, long-lasting foliage we’ve seen in years. The foliage is past peak now, but it was amazing while it lasted.
With fall gradually yielding to winter, we’re keeping a close eye on the forecast. Once Mother Nature gives us a healthy stretch of cold weather, we’ll fire up the snow guns. Once that happens, we’ll give you a shout. Until then, take a minute to enjoy these fall photos, taken here at Loon from late September to late October.
Why do you choose Loon? Is it the snow? The peaks? The parks? We want you to show us why with our #IChooseLoon photo contest!
Take a photo that shows why you choose Loon, and submit it. You can submit as many photos as you like by Feb.20. Then you and everyone else can vote for your favorite entries, and the photo with the most by Feb. 27 votes wins!
Two free lift tickets good any day this season!
Skiing or riding with a friend is way more fun than hitting the slopes alone – and a buddy will always watch your back.
In honor of National Safety Month, we’re launching our #loonskibuddies photo contest. Share a photo of yourself and your buddy at Loon, and the two of you could win tickets to ski or ride with us again this winter.
Post your photo on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram by Friday, January 31 at 12 p.m., and include the #loonskibuddies hashtag. We’ll choose a favorite and announce the winners that afternoon.
The Ice Castle is here! The castle opens to the public tonight from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., so come check it out! Weekend hours are 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. For ticket prices and more info: http://www.icecastles.com/Loon/
